The rooms at the Elyssia Hotel in Pedoulas, Cyprus are absolutely stunning! They are spacious and have all the modern amenities you need. The private balconies offer breathtaking views of the valley, village, or mountaintops. As someone who loves to be close to nature, these rooms were a dream come true.
Personally, I found the air conditioning in the rooms a bit too chilly at times. But hey, that's just my preference.

The hospitality given by the owner on arrival. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food was freshly prepared by the owner with a lot of local dishes and plenty of it. The location is in a quiet village with beautiful scenery. The locals use the hotel restaurant and bar and were very friendly. An ideal base for travelling in the Troodos mountains. Definitely worth a visit.

The hotel is located in an idyllic location very near to Troodos square, offering breathtaking views of the magnificent Troodos mountains. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with cozy beds and well-maintained bathrooms. the staff provides excellent service, going the extra mile to ensure guests' satisfaction. the breakfast served is delicious and the restaurant offers incredible food with abundant choices. the hotel also features a beautiful dining/reception room with a lovely fireplace.
The hotel could improve the comfort of the beds which were a bit hard.

This hotel located in a lovely location of Cyprus countryside. Our room had a panoramic view, as well as it was very clean and well furnished. The staff was very friendly and hospitality is a key word that characterise this hotel. We felt like to be in our home. Last but not least, food (breakfast & dinner) was absolutly delicious, freshly and most important prepared with quality local products (home made). I am strongly reccommended this hotel to anybody (high-value of money).

Very nice place! The hotel is managed by the friendly family. The hospitality and the helpfulness of the host are beyond praise. The dinner was perfect, as well as breakfast. Cuisine is very tasty. We had good time, indeed. I also recommend home made jams. There is elevator! The rooms are spacious and cosy, Beds are comfortable. Modern bathroom equipment. Every room has a balcony. Conditioner and the heating system works fine. Next time I will stay at Elyssia again.
The bad thing is that we stayed there only for one night.

We got incredible value for our money, with firm and comfortable beds, a breathtaking view of the mountains, and a peaceful and quiet atmosphere for a fantastic night's sleep. The location in the charming village of Pedoulas was great for strolling around and exploring, and the staff at the hotel were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.
Hotel breakfast could use some improvement with more variety.

I highly recommend staying in Pedoulas at the Elyssia to anyone going to Cyprus. We went to Cyprus for a conference and beach vacation, but decided to spend a few days in the mountains to explore that part of the island. I'm so glad that we did. Pedoulas is a lovely small town that left us feeling relaxed and enchanted with Cyprus. Our warm feelings were much shaped by Catarina, the proprietor of the Elyssia. She is a fantastic cook who makes many Cypriot dishes. We are vegetarian and she was very accommodating. She also makes a variety of jams and jellies. We were there in Cherry season and we tasted some of her cherry liquor. Take some home! The hotel rooms have great views and each has its own balcony. We'd definitely go back.

A perfect escape from society. I had the pleasure of enjoying peaceful days hiking in stunning mountains. The restaurant satisfied my cravings all day. The hotel was accommodating with activities and excursions, free parking, and Wi-Fi. The Archangel Michael Church and Byzantine Folklore Museum were fascinating.
The thrill of leaving. How dare they make me go back to reality!

Katerina and Loizos were warm, friendly and attentive hosts. I almost felt that I was part of their extended family, I was made so welcome. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent. My room was very comfortable and clean. I was very sorry to leave after 5 first class nights.

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming hotel in the Troodos Mountains. The decoration was warm and inviting, with cozy seating areas and beautiful artwork adorning the walls. It truly felt like a home away from home. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate around with my senior mother. The presence of a lift in the hotel was a wonderful convenience for us, eliminating any worry about climbing stairs. The staff, especially the young ones working there, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist us with a smile. It was so nice to be greeted by such warm hospitality.
If I were to ask for one thing to make our vacation even better, it would be the inclusion of a kettle in the room. As a senior, I prefer to have my tea easily accessible in the comfort of my own space.

Most especially the owner Katrianna, she could not do enough for us - her evening meals and breakfasts were supberb, the room she gave us was very clean and comfortable with air conditioning and had the most amazing view of the mountains. Each evening she had prepared a plate of truly authentic Cypriat cooking for only 12 euros!. We even bought some of their home made fruit reserves that were a local delicacy. Photos not developed but will send later if you request again.
first time I have done a review and said absolutely nothing - the hotel is rustic, rural and reminds you of times gone by - a much more personal sevice than a big chain hotel were you can feel anonymous.

The lovely family who runs the place were awsome! nice, kind, warn and inviting. we've asked for a romantic stay and we got a great room with a HotTub, and great view of the peacful villege. We chose the hotel due to the great financial offer, and we'd recommend it to others for the great value for money and the warm feeling. The Buffet dinner (Katherina's home made) was excellent!
The breakfest wasn't varied enough. We excpected a greek breakfest and more to choose.
